Applications / Videos
Erkodent offers for each intended purpose the optimal material. In our detailed thermoforming manual you will find the respective instructions with work tools and hints. Of almost all applications we have created videos (see download) that show step by step the fabrication of the appliances. These instructions are to be understood as recommencation from the development team of the company Erkodent. The application field of the thermoforming technique as well as the fabrication hints are not limited to the recommendations shown.
Thermoforming sheets in various thicknesses for the production of aligners with and without attachments.
Thermoforming sheets for the fabrication of occlusally adjusted splints in various thicknesses and degrees of hardness.
For the production of bases for bite registrations.
For the production of bases for bite registrations.
For the production of trays as a carrier for bleaching gels, usually in home bleaching.
For indirect bonding of brackets in orthodontics.
For the cost-effective production of simple duplicating molds, e.g. for training or foam models.
Thermoforming sheets for the production of efficient fluoridation trays.
Sustainable material for the production of thermoformed trays.
Sustainable material for the production of thermoformed trays.
Thermoformed version with little residual monomer of orthodontic appliances such as expansion plates, retention plates, etc.
Thermoforming sheets for the production of bruxism splints with different occlusal designs in various degrees of hardness and thicknesses.
Thermoforming sheets in various thicknesses for the production of aligners for tooth correction with and without attachments.
Thermoforming sheets for the fabrication of thin tooth-colored splints for a short-term aesthetic enhancement of the dental situation.
Thermoforming sheets for the production of Michigan splints with different occlusal designs in various degrees of hardness and thicknesses.
As an auxiliary tool for implant planning or for the surgical drilling process.
Material for the production of positioners.
Material for producing a composite of thermoforming sheet and plastic for temporary restorations.
Material for the production of a pure molded part, without bonding to the temporary material.
Material for the fabrication of retention splints for use after orthodontic treatment.
Thermoformed version, low in residual monomer from orthodontic appliances such as expansion plates, retention plates, etc.
As an aid for implant planning or for the surgical drilling procedure.
Material or system for the production of mandibular advancement splints.
Thermoforming sheets for the production of splints to protect new dentures and healing implants.
Material for the production of the world's first CE-certified, individually laboratory-manufactured sports mouthguard.
Material for the fabrication of splints to stabilize the dental arch.
Radiation protection splints reduce the implications of scattered radiation caused by materials of high density. This happens on the base of the distance-square-law of the radiation physics. The splints keep for ex. cheek and tongue in distance to the material of high density. The literature requires a distance of at least 3 mm.
Real friction, extremely comfortable insertion and taking for the patient and the practicioner, by a simple re-working the friction is at any time optimisable, low material costs, extremely time saving, most simple fabrication with the Erkodent thermoforming technique.
Thermoforming sheets for the production of individual oral dressings for treated wounds.
